As many of the diving sites are beyond the reach of any resort, our dive safari provides you with the opportunity to experience some of the best dive sites in the Maldives . You will cruise the atolls diving the best in comfort, aboard this 5 star cruiser, stopping to enjoy the peace and tranquility that is truly Maldives .

On this 10 day cruise, we are planning to dive in the majestic waters of North Ari Atoll and South Male' Atoll. Should the weather conditions not be suitable for these regions, an alternate itinery will be decided, taking into consideration the experience and wishes of our guests together with the knowledge and experience of our Captain and Dive Master.

Our diving staff are PADI certified Dive masters or Dive instructors with an excellent knowledge of the local conditions, providing you with the greatest chance of getting to the best dive sites in the most favorable conditions. If and when equipment is needed please let us know in advance so there will be no delay.

Usually, before sunset, the safari boat locates a calm lagoon to set anchor. More often than not the location is close to an uninhabited island, so guests can take for a swim, go ashore and explore the island and possibly enjoy a BBQ. Alternatively, your safari boat has the option of stopping at a resort, so you can enjoy drinks at a bar, a disco night or a cultural show.

  TRAVEL PLANNING

  Entry requirements : No visas are require to enter the Maldives . Please check your passports to make sure they are valid for at least another six months. Alcohol, drugs, and pornographic material are not allowed.

  Climate : Air temperatures are constant throughout the year averaging around 28C. The water temperatures ranges from 82F to 86F.

  Electricity : 240 volts. Several 110 volt converters are on board, but it is advisable to bring voltage converters and international adapters.

  Vaccinations are not necessary.

  Currency : Maldivian currency is in the from of Rufiyaa. The present conversion rate is 12.85 Rufiyaa = 1 $US dollar. Traveler's checks and American Dollars as well as major credit card are widely accepted.

  Clothing : Casual cotton clothing is best for most occasions. There are no dress requirements aboard, however, when on land modest clothing, covering thighs and shoulders is recommended.

  Language : The main language is Dhivehi, however, English is widely understood and spoken.

  The food is a well-balanced mixture of International and Maldivian cuisine. The menus have been prepared to take into consideration the preferences of our Russian guests.

  Fishing equipment is available for guests use. The management requests guests to release fish that are not to intended for consumption while on the diving cruise.

  Photography : It is recommended photographers take with them spare film as these items can be difficult to source locally at times.

  Spear fishing : is strictly forbidden and the government imposes very expensive fines for offenders.

  Environment : please take good care of the environment by kindly taking back with you used batteries and plastic bottle containers.
