Typically, the dive season starts in July when the rich plankton blooms attract mantas and whale sharks. The best time for their sightings is July through November, the visibility averaging 75 to 100 foot. From December to April the sea tends to be calmer and clearer, with up to 100 foot plus visibility. During this period the waters are teaming with wild life. May and June can have unstable weather, and storms and cloudy days are common until September. October and November tend to have calmer, clearer weather, but visibility can be slightly reduced due to the of abundance of plankton in the water.
